Why did you pick this class?

When I first started playing WoW I rolled a dwarf hunter. Something about an angry short man holding a gun seemed infinitely more appealing than a majestic Tauren or nefarious warlock. It's the class I learned to play the game with and the one I've enjoyed playing the most. I've rerolled other classes over time but...it just doesn't quite feel the same. Hunters are one of the most versatile classes in the game so it's hard to get bored playing one.



Why did you roll on a brand new server?

My old server (Aggramar) is somewhat devoid of hardcore raiding guilds. The ones that are around are doing T6 content and demand T5 experience but...no guilds are running SSC/TK anymore! Serious catch-22. I really want to progress onto more hardcore raiding but I just can't find a guild on my server to even apply to. So I'm hoping a reroll and a gear reset will help me out!



Are you aware that we will require a raid PVE spec, and expect you to be specced accordingly?

Aye, I almost exclusively play PvE. If I do PvP it's just for kicks and not for gear.

Yeah, for the next few months I'll be working in a city where I know next to nobody, so I have a lot more time for warcraft

What is your current raiding experience?

Firstly I would like to say my current raiding experience is far from ideal. This is THE reason why I rerolled on Blade's Edge. Because of the reasons I wrote above, I've been in a casual Kara guild for a while now, and Kara is the only raid I've done any justice too. I've tried to PuG Maggy and ZA but too many egos (not mine!) got in the way. My guild refuses to try ZA and our foray into Gruul's lair was...complicated (my pulls were spot on though ).

I do believe, however, that despite my limited raid experience I know the mechanics of my class and the game at large extremely well. I'm a bit of a theorycrafter and a very fast learner. At the moment I'm doing over 30% of my guild's dps in Kara, and to be honest I'm desperate to move on.

A bit over 1 year.



We use ventrilo to communicate in raids. Are you capable of running and hearing ventrillo? (mic is a plus, but not a necessity)

Not at the moment, but I would like to in the future!



Why did you apply for Nocturnal?

You seem to be a guild that intends to explore all the endgame content WoW has to offer. You also say you give new raiders a chance, which is something I really respect you for even if you don't accept this app. The name is appealing too

Maybe I'm a tad blind but I couldn't find anywhere where you state the planned times of your raids, but I'm guessing from the guild name they run fairly late? I have a full time job so i can't raid during the day except on weekends. Weekdays I can raid from 1900 to 0100 server time. I hope that fits into your schedule!

Which guild were you in on Aggramar? I transfered my rogue to that server but it was terrible. Few decent guilds are not recruting anymore (unless you come with full T6 or whatever), and those that are left ... well let's just say there are guilds there that wipe on Supremus -.-
